indian head massage / shiatsu manual facelift aromatherapy. chalfont st peter
Indian head massage or Champissage is a therapy that dates back over a thousand ears. It involves
massage of the head, neck, shoulders, arms, face and hair. I combine this therapy with shiatsu pressure points on the
face and marma points on the head.
Traditionally it is given daily within Indian families and no visit to the barbers in India
is complete without a champissage.
I use traditional oils for example coconut, mustard oil (this is a great oil for winter) and
of course Nag Champa.
This therapy works on all levels: Mind , Body and Spirit. It helps promote clear and positive
thinking. It revitalizes and recharges the mind and spirit. Indian head massage helps relax the tension in the upper body
and releases body armour, another name for stress carried around on the body.
It is the perfect treatment for office workers I haave two sequences of this massage.
One is a twenty minute stress buster this sequence is ideal for corporate work and the other is a fifty minute deeply relaxing
Champissage.

Shiatsu manual face lift
About the treatment
This facial is a combination of Indian manual facelift, Shiatsu pressure points, Aromatherapy
and Japanese holistic facial. and Indian head massage.
I start, as with all my treatments, with a consultation.
The treatment starts with a cleanse, tone and mask using natural aromatherapy products and
natural based masks and hydrolats. I then go on to the massage using bespoke blends of oils.
The technique of the massage are a combination of deep stroking movements to remove tension
from the muscles. Gentle sweeping movements to relax and calm the areas. Applied pressure points to the face, head, chest
and shouldersand ears. Finishing of with a mini Indian head massage and marma point gentle pressures to release the tension
from the scalp.
This again is a holistic therapy as it uses bespoke blends of oils and pressure points to
bring the body into balance.
A mini version of this facial is used in the deluxe aromatherapy treatment.
This treatment takes around thirty five to forty minutes and is suitable for both men and
women.
